Just wanted to send a personal and heartfelt thank you for all you do not only for our community, but especially for our kids! I know you work tirelessly for them and we sincerely appreciate all your extra efforts!!!! Thank you!!!

A very special thank you for all you've done to help our kids who wish to pursue military careers! While the Navy Seals have terminated Osama Bin Laden, praise God, I fear the threat of terrorism is far from over. We need to encourage more brave young men and women to serve our great Nation. Your scholarship provides the means for many to do so who might not be able to reach that goal any other way. I know that is our son's case. We are forever grateful for your nomination of Chip for the Texas Armed Forces Scholarship!!! Thank you!!!! Thank you!!!! Thank you!!!! I cannot possibly begin to convey to you all this means to our family and especially to our son. He got a head start for the summer and is already at A&M taking a full load of courses. He's looking forward to freshman orientation week and joining Squadron 8 of the Corps of Cadets! I know you're incredibly busy, but if it's alright, we'll send you a picture of Chip in his uniform once they are issued.
