Thank you for visiting my website. I am hopeful that the
information located here will help you to learn more about me, and
my dedication to the people of the 98th
Texas House district.
As a native and life-long resident of Northeast Tarrant County,
I care deeply about this area and the people who live here.
When you elected me in 1998, and sent me to Austin in 1999, I
promised you that I would be a representative you could be proud
of. I remain dedicated and driven to be responsive to the
people I serve, and I’ve worked hard to earn a solid reputation as
a leader in the House, and become respected as someone who
studies the issues and makes decisions based on facts and sound
judgment. And I am an effective legislator. Last session,
I passed more bills than any other member of the Texas House of
Representatives. (My pass rate was 68%, as compared to the House
average of 25%.) I also worked to kill bad legislation that would
have been harmful to the people of my district. I’ve learned how
to get things done for you in Austin.
On November 4, my name will be on the General Election ballot, and
I hope that you will want me to continue to fight for and
protect the interests of the people of the 98th
Texas House District. I sincerely appreciate your confidence and
support of me in the past, and I’m asking you to please join me in
helping with my re-election efforts.
